About Me
From gaming enthusiast to MIT graduate, here's my journey into tech and beyond
Got my a GameBoy with Pokemon Emerald - my gateway into gaming and technology.
My basketball team won a tournament in San Diego. I wanted to play in the NBA and drank a glass of milk every day for 18 years... only to learn in college that I was lactose intolerant the whole time!
I started playing Magic: The Gathering and eventually became a competitive player in college. I also learned how to play poker.
I discovered a math racing game called For The Win! I grinded my rating in this game for 2 years and got really good at math. This game as the reason I got into MIT.
I started teaching and coaching math. I founded two MATHCOUNTS teams and led them to place top-5 in the California State contest. One of my students later represented the USA IMO team. Teaching math is the most fulfilling activity that I have done.
Qualified for Math Olympiad Program (MOP) and won the MOP Fish Tournament
Got accepted into MIT - a dream come true!
Started web development journey, built first website, and launched a class-sharing app at MIT that had over 50% of the undergraduate class using it called Interstellar
My friend and I applied and got onto the American Ninja Warrior show. It was super fun!
Graduated from MIT with B.S. in Computer Science
I left my job as a trader at Jane Street to solve math education
